Outselling the likes of Glasvegas with their debut single "Who Are Ya?", Jakil were selected by BBC Radio One as Annie Mac's House Band. Jakil were asked to write and perform a jingle for Annie, and were interviewed live on Radio One just minutes after the Christmas number one was announced. "Who Are Ya?" also picked up its first national radio play, and grabbed further airplay across the UK.
